Volunteer with Us
The Lifesaving Society welcomes volunteers to the Branch and has many opportunities for a volunteer to assist us in carrying out our mission of drowning prevention.
Volunteers may donate their time at public education events such as Sport Fair, and other community based activities that require people to talk about the Society and Water Safety. We also encourage the spreading of the water safety knowledge in your own community. Persons interested in borrowing displays may do so.
We also need instructors for our Swim to Survive Program. If you are interested in helping Grade 3 students or new immigrants learn to swim, please contact us.
The Branch also requires assistance at our Lifesaving Sport events. There are many roles a volunteer can play at a competition. These take place across the province in both indoor and outdoor facilities.
