Facilities

The gravel parking lot can hold up to 60+ cars. There is a porta-pottie but no changing rooms. The beach can be accessed from the parking lot through three main paths that could be set up to make the beach wheelchair accessible. An emergency vehicle would be unable to enter the beach or approach any further than the gravel parking lot. An EMS station is approximately an 8 minute drive away.

Beach Safety

One of the more secluded beaches on Cape Sable Island, walk along the Stoney Island beach and feel the warm silvery sand between your toes.
A great spot for swimming, walking, picnics or just relaxing the day away!

Directions

Head on the Cape Island Causeway and follow Highway 330. Take a left on Stoney Island Road. Follow Stoney Island Road then take a right onto Kenny Road. The parking lot will be at the end of the road.
