Lake Milo Boat Club is located in Yarmouth County

History

Lake Milo Boat Club has been supervised by the NSLS since 2000, under an agreement with the Municipality of the District of Yarmouth.

Facilities

Lake Milo Boat Club's features a boathouse, which has an indoor washroom and changerooms. The swimming area largely consists of an area surrounded by a series of docks.

Beach Safety

Lake Milo Beach Club's supervised area is made up of a series of docks that extend to a depth of about 15 feet at the deepest part. The water temperature ranges between 18-22 degrees at Milo. There is usually a cool breeze coming from the harbor that keeps the air temperature between 18-20 degrees.

Head north on Willow St toward Parade St. Turn left onto Parade St, then right onto Evangeline Trail/Main St/NS-1 E. Destination will be on the left.

Safety Tip: Please walk on the docks and boardwalk as they are slippery when wet. Only jump from something that floats, and only dive on the side with the pink buoys. 

Remember to keep an eye out for your children in the water. Small children should be kept within arms reach. 

Last day of supervision for lifeguards at Lake Milo is September 2nd! Hours of supervision are 10am-6pm
