Leadership Training and Certification
Lifesaving Society certified instructors provide the leadership for our lifesaving, lifeguarding, and first aid training programs. The Society's instructors work at your local municipal pool or YMCA, at summer camps, private clubs, schools, colleges and universities. Some are self-employed.
Lifesaving Society Examiners evaluate and certify candidates at the Bronze Medallion level and above. Examiners are volunteers.
In addition to our Junior Lifeguard Club Coach, a coaching certification program for lifeguard competition is in development.
